On January 26, 2018, Christ (Deemed to be University) held its annual Alumni Day. To show gratitude to the past pupils of the Department of International Studies and History, Vrittanta and Lyceum, the associations of the Department of International Studies and History held an Alumni Meet. The event started off by Hanish Immanuel from 4HEP and Deepa from 4MAIS singing a prayer song which was followed by the welcome address given by Dr Venugopal Menon. After which, Reverend Dr. Fr. Jose CC addressed the gathering. The audience then played a small game and revisited their old college days. The felicitation ceremony was then proceeded by Dr Koiremba Singh, Dr Madhumati Deshpande and Dr. Anurag Tripathi giving the past pupils momentoes. The event was concluded by the Vote of Thanks given by Harsimran Singh from 4HEP. The entire event was a small initiative and over the years, the department seeks to make the Alumni Meet and greater event.
